About Counselling
Reaching out for help from others is not always an easy thing to do, however it is in the coming together of our common humanity that we have the opportunity to heal and grow as individuals.
Since stress and loss are a part of our everyday lives finding ways to cope and ways to release the emotions attached to them can prevent them from accumulating and becoming life-long problems.
Some things to be gained from a counselling session:
- Ways to manage immediate emotional pain
- Creative ways of self expression
- Skills to use when communicating with others
- Ways to build your self esteem
- Support to open to a pathway of healing and change
As your counsellor I will:
- Listen to your story
- Support your individual needs
- Respect your values and beliefs
- Hear valuable insights beneath your story to help you through difficult times
- Empower you to be in control of your own path to healing
A counselling session with me will provide a safe environment where you can explore your emotions freely and in doing so, free you emotionally to move forward.
" What matters is not what life does to you
but rather what you do with what life does to you"
